What is Scenar Therapy?
The SCENAR device is slowly moved across the skin over painful areas, e.g. neck, knee etc. The patient will feel a mild prickly sensation which can be
adjusted. Even if a client does not feel anything (as practitioners deliberately do with children) a pain relief is happening.
Skin areas where nerves come close to the surface, e.g. back for spinal nerves or neck for nerves going to the arm, are treated. Acupuncture points, meridians and chakras can be treated. SCENAR can ease tense muscles or tighten weak muscles, e.g. face muscles to reduce skin wrinkles.
SCENAR can be used on swellings from injuries or lymph oedemas as well as to improve the circulation.
The autonomic nervous system can be calmed in stress, anxiety, nervousness. A person in 'rest-and-digest-mode' (parasympathetic) heals better than a person in 'fight-and-flight-mode' (sympathetic).
SCENAR can help with any pain, acute or chronic.
As the SCENAR device is easy to use patients can treat themselves with a RITM Home User Device in between visits to their SCENAR practitioner.
A lot of patients finally find pain relief after they have 'done everything' like physiotherapy, pain medication, acupuncture, Bowen-therapy, osteopathic or chiropractic treatments and so on, only when they started SCENAR therapy. A lot of patients are able to reduce their pain medication.
